This page lists exactly what this site stores in your browser, and when.
How it works here
Nothing starts before you have answered. The two measurement tools are not loaded until you consent: they do not fire first and apologise afterwards. If you decline, your browser makes no request to Google or Meta and no identifier leaves your device.

It is not a cookie in the technical sense and is never sent to the server: it stays in the browser. It exists to honour your choice, so it does not itself require consent.

Changing your mind
The Preferences control at the foot of every page puts the question back. If you had consented, the withdrawal is passed to both providers immediately, and from the next page load their scripts do not start at all. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings, at any time and without going through us.
